Halloween
Here comes Tigger! Unfortunately, I was sick on Halloween and didn't want to pass it on. We had to settle for hanging out with the family at Aunt Margaret's house that Sunday. Morgan's 1st Birthday
Morgan and her cousins Tannar and John Marshall get pulled by the goat at her barnyard birthday bash. Morgan had to show off her new phone to her cousin Cora.
Goats, cows, what next?
Morgan's Papa Tom bought 2 calves to add to the barnyard. She likes to Moo and giggles when she touches the cow's wet nose.
Sink bath
Morgan loves her sink baths. The lake was a little chilly for a full dip, so Grandma Julie had to give Morgan a bath in the sink.
Lake 26
Every summer the Simonsen crew gets together for a weekend of fun and relaxation at Lake 26. Morgan got to meet many cousins for the first time and had a great time playing with them.
Lake 26 Family Reunion
The beach in Wisconsin is a little different than the beach in North Carolina. Morgan wanted to take Grandma Julie's kayak for a spin around the lake.

Folly Beach
Heather lives on James Island, so of course we had to visit Folly Beach. The weather was good, and the water was warm. Morgan loved the waves and playing in the sand. She had her paci so she wouldn't eat so much sand this time.
Cookout
Heather had a ccokout while we were there, and Morgan got to hang out with Blakely who is 7 months old. They loved Heather's Mardi Gras beads.
Watermelon
Watermelon is definately Morgan's favorite food. She loves to let the juice run everywhere. Last weekend we took a trip to Charleston, SC to see my friend Heather.
Now we're having fun
Just a little triple fisting going on- this is about when Morgan went to hang out with Grandpa. The food was amazing and we all had such a good time.

Morgan spent a lot of time with Grandpa Jeff at the wedding reception.
Modern technology
The cabin had no electricity for blow dryers or curling irons to prepare for the wedding. No problem- Grandma Julie's car has a plug built in to the dashboard! Who knew? Grandma Julie and Great Aunt Donna had their hair done in no time.

The cabin we stayed at was 8 miles down a gravel road, and then a mile down a mud bog path lined with cows. We had to open and close 3 gates on the way in. It was very peaceful.Hanging out with Grandma Julie

Hot Springs
We had to visit Chico hot springs while we were there. Morgan loved splashing around and relaxing in the warm pool.
Road Trip
Morgan took her first plane ride on July 11th. We traveled to Montana for my cousin's wedding. Morgan's Grandpa Jeff rode his bike for 19 hours and over 1000 miles to get there. I'm glad we flew, that was challenging enough.

Memorial Day Weekend
We went to Holden Beach for Memorial Day. We had beautiful weather and finally got to enjoy some sun. Morgan loved the beach- especially the sand- as you can see. MMMmm.....prunes and dirt!
Cheerios
Morgan loves cheerios. She hops up and down when she sees the container they are in, and screams when she runs out.
7 months old
These photos were taken May 16th- when Morgan was 7 months old. She is just starting to get her first tooth.

Beach Trip
We took a trip to Holden Beach for a relaxing long weekend. Morgan liked her first sink bath- up until she leaned forward and got her first goose-egg. Her favorite spot was swinging in the hammock chair on the porch. The beach was too windy so we spent most of our time at the house.

Five months old!
Morgan was vey serious about her five month photo shoot. All we could get was this little half smile. See Feb 2nd post for 1 & 3 month photos.

Four and a half months old.
Morgan just had her 4 month appointment on Friday. She weighed 13 lbs 4 oz(50%), and was 25 3/4 inches long(90%). The Doc says she is on track to be tall and skinny! In a couple weeks we can start Morgan on some solid foods. Yeah! Last week I opened her box of 6 month clothes- she is getting too long for the 3-6 month sleepers. She loves to talk and giggle and put everything in her mouth. We are trying to get her to roll over. She likes to sleep on her side and cuddle her moose or her bunny.

Exersaucer
Morgan loves her new exersaucer. She is still a little small for it though- her feet barely touch the bottom, and we have to stuff blankets all around her. Check out that wild hair!What a big girl!
She is growing like a weed. This is Morgan with the same teddy bear at 1 month and at 3 months. Morgan welcomed a new cousin - John Marshall- on the 26th. He is so tiny- I don't even remember Morgan being that small!Sunday Lunch
